Playing a pivotal part in all future growth at Net World Sports, you’ll be working collaboratively with both the internal teams and our couriers. We are looking for someone who is meticulously organised and a strong team player. Most importantly we want someone who is keen to truly make a difference from day one, expanding our offering and maximising all areas for potential.

The logistics department are responsible for ensuring that the customer’s expectations of fulfilment is exceeded every time for every order. You will work to achieve and exceed these expectations to fully deliver our customer promise, across all our global markets. This commitment to customer promise is a fundamental component of our relationship with our valued customers and is key to the service we constantly strive to ensure we maintain and deliver on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Playing a key role in logistical operations ensuring that daily incoming orders across all NWS sales channels are being processed and delivered to exceed our ever-growing customer base expectations.
  • Ensuring the seamless synchronisation of internal warehouse operations & customer services, with those of the logistical function and proactively providing effective solutions to all anomalies that may emerge, with customer promise, efficiency and cost savings being a key driver in all solutions.
  • Assisting with the monitoring of performance for all our global courier solutions ensuring they are meeting the requirements the business expects.
  • A valued member of our growing logistics department will act as a key point of contact for fellow colleagues across the business, constantly working to enhance the overall function from an operational and process improvement point of view.
  • Working proactively with our customer care department, communicating any order issues in real time, to ensure our customer base receive the best experience.
  • Playing an ongoing integral part in improving our returns process and overall delivery proposition.
  • Undertaking all other tasks that the business may require of you, as we continue to rapidly grow.

Your skills and experience:

  • Proficient on Microsoft Excel
  • Proactive approach to your day to day tasks and a firm understanding of what the overall goal is as we expand
  • The confidence to think on your feet and make real time decisions
  • Experience of working as part of a team whilst demonstrating clear capabilities of working independently
  • Process driven mindset
  • Work progressively with all departments of the business
  • Great literacy & communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, deadlines and meetings
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in all tasks you are assigned, and hours worked. As the logistical function will need to support across all operational hours of the business, this will be expected of any successful candidate
  • A desire to grow professionally in your role.
  • Experience in a logistics function would be desirable
  • Experience of Microsoft NAV & Dynamics 365 would be desirable
