Position Overview

We’re seeking a proactive, bright and hardworking Finance Admin Assistant who can really help push Net World Sports further. You’ll be passionate about improving processes, have a meticulous attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is a real opportunity for someone to come in and gain substantial exposure across all aspects of the business, consequently benefiting from unrivalled career progression within a busy, exciting and motivated Accounts team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking and entering invoices on to our Microsoft NAV system according to defined procedures.
  • Data collection and input into Excel documents for analysis.
  • Undertake problem-solving in areas relevant to primary duties.
  • Work with different currencies; identifying exchange rates and carrying out conversion calculations.
  • Organising quarterly files, ensuring all documents are clearly organised.
  • File invoices and accounting data according to defined procedures.
  • Answering supplier telephone and e-mail queries.
  • Maintaining petty cash and PO systems.
  • Creating and sustaining links between all departments.
  • Ad hoc department duties as they arise.

What you'll need to show us:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and be a whizz at data entry.
  • SAGE & MS NAV knowledge an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly a strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Self-motivated, organised and a brilliant multi-tasker.
  • The ability to think on your feet, proactively finding solutions where needed.
  • You’ll understand the common goal and with your fantastic communication skills you’ll be able to connect with various departments to ensure that our operations run as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • You’ll be able to take ownership of a task and see it through to completion with the highest attention to detail.
  • You’ll have a positive approach and your ‘can do’ thinking will mean you’re always keen to excel.
  • Ideally, you’ll working towards an AAT qualification or equivalent.
  • You’ll be flexible and able to adapt to any situation.
